We were very fortunate that Denali was visible on two of the three days we were in the vicinity.

Travelling through Wrangell Narrows at night, a crewmember in the bows of the M/V Malaspina watches for unexpected hazards. In the one-minute time exposure, the twists and turns of the ferry can be seen in the changes in position of the blinking red buoys on the left.
Fireweed can grow in very difficult conditions.
I think this is dwarf fireweed.
